The South Africa Wheelchair Rugby 2014 League final was hosted by Tuks Wheelchair Rugby on the 1st November 2014 at LC De Villiers Sports Grounds, Hatfield.

Tuks Wheelchair Rugby team went into the final weekend as the defending champions and defeated Mandeville Lions Wheelchair Rugby team in the first of two playoff games, to reach the gold medal playoff. While the Bullfrogs Wheelchair Rugby team from East London defeated Mustangs Wheelchair Rugby team in the second playoff, to be the second team in the gold playoff.

The bronze medal playoff game saw Mustangs comfortably beating the Mandeville Lions. Unfortunately, Mandeville Lions were hampered with athlete injuries prior to the league finals, which hampered their performance on the day.

The gold medal game saw the defending champs Tuks defeat the Bullfrogs quite comfortably, again mainly due to athlete injuries prior and during the tournament.

The league final weekend provided development athletes an opportunity to compete in a tournament for the first time. The Vikings Wheelchair Rugby team from Soshanguve is the latest addition to the SA WCR family. The club is situated at the Tshwane University of Technology campus, and exists mainly from students with disabilities studying at the institute. The ever growing club also provides an opportunity to people with disabilities in the Soshanguve community to play wheelchair rugby, with amazing support from TUT.

The equipment at the Vikings Wheelchair Rugby club was provided by National Lotteries Board with the support of Blue Bulls Rugby Union.

The TUT Vikings team played in a development game versus a SA WCR invitation team. The experience Vikings obtained from the game has prepared the team for competing in the SA WCR 2015.
