QASA News - Meet QASA’s interns from KZN who are part of their Health & Welfare SETA Workplace Exper
Nevonia Moodley is an intern on the HWSETA program based at the QuadPara Association of KwaZulu-Natal (QAK) office in Pinetown, where she is learning valuable office and admin skills during her one year internship.
- She has a National Certificate in Accountancy and National Diploma in Internal Auditing, and would like to gain employment in Accounting. She dreams of one day becoming a Child Psychologist and buying her own home.
- Mbali Mdletshe is also based at QAK Pinetown office, where she is being trained in valuable computer and social media skills.
- She wants to use her internship to motivate people with disabilities, and feels happy that the internship has given her a chance to pursue her passion for computers, and get a good job one day.
- Sizwe Nxumalo is based at Cheshire Home in Chatsworth, where he does administration work. He also spends one day a week at the QASA head office in Gillitts and assists with capturing CV’s for the employment database.
Sizwe has a very positive attitude and dreams of finding permanent employment and providing for himself and his family. He is also interested in encouraging and becoming a mentor for persons with disabilities. He feels life will only get better from here!
